       吕维超，号卧虎堂主人，字如飞。当代著名动物画家，国家一级美术师。国家美术师评审委员会副主席。中国美术家协会会员，中国书法家协会会员，中国工笔画学会会员,中国国画院浙江分院院长，扬州八怪书画院名誉院长。京华美术馆中国花鸟画艺委会副主任,当代最具学术价值与市场潜力的【30位】画家之一。最具收藏价值与诚信的【50】位花鸟画家之一。中国最具收藏价值与品牌的【20】位画家之一。作品多次参加中国美协主办的全国美展并多次获奖。多幅作品被国家领导人，博物馆，艺术馆，中国美协，企业集团及海外人士收藏。2006年5月受到前国务院副总理谷牧老人的接见。2011年成为中国艺术杂志最受推崇的封面人物。
